  Work on Lossless Life Files started roughly 3 years ago when I was going through somewhat of a ‘transformation’. Like all good transformation stories, it wasn’t all roses. After the end of a long-term relationship, I entered a somewhat self-destructive period. Somehow, after hammering on that nail for a relatively short period, I met someone (enter pandemic romance). Without a doubt, they helped guide me into the person I now am and as a result helped steer the ship of this album. Over the next 2.5 years I kept adding bits and pieces to this thing. I wanted to make something that spanned a bunch of styles and genres and didn’t play the ugly music PR game too much. In my opinion at least, I’ve included some examples of the following: Downtempo, Ambient, House, Emo, Hauntology, Breaks, Jungle, Hip-Hop, Abstract, Musique concrète, Poetry...blah, blah givemyselfabigpatontheback. Now at the end of it all, I’m at the start of another life transformation. Things are up in the air so to speak. But this time its a lot more checking in with self than checking out of self. Whilst I know I will never really have much of an audience due to the way I work this godforsaken thing, I do know or more, I promise if you do listen, it’ll always be personally from me and I’ll likely always open up more than I should, so you can feel what the fuck it is I’m feeling when making this shit.
